Connect to Google Analytics

Here’s what you need to connect:
- View ID
- Start Date
- Credentials

Create a Google Analytics Datasource in bipp

Select Datasources from the Home Navigation pane to open the Datasources page.

Click New Datasource on the Datasources page.

Enter a Name. For example, TestGoogleAnalytics.

Select GoogleAnalytics for SQL Dialect for your database. bipp creates and enforces the rules for the selected dialect.

Enter the information for your Google Analytics:
- View_id: The unique ID used to retrieve the Analytics data. You will find this in Google Analytics account settings.
- Start_date: Start date for fetching Analytics data. Allowed formats are YYYY-MM-DD | today | yesterday | {n}daysAgo (where n is a positive integer)
- End_date: End date for fetching Analytics data. Allowed formats are YYYY-MM-DD | today | yesterday | {n}daysAgo (where n is a positive integer). If the end date is not provided, then today is considered the end date.
- Credentials: click Choose File and navigate to the credentials file for the sheet. The credentials file must be set up through the Google API. Refer to Datasource Google Analytics Authorizing Access to Google Analytics.
- View_id: The unique ID used to retrieve the Analytics data. You will find this in Google Analytics account settings.

Click Create to add the datasource.
Congratulations! You have successfully created a Google Analytics datasource in bipp.
